Plasma and Corona Surface Treatment

The unique Plasma and Corona technologies improve wettability of plastic materials with low surface energy, i.e. polyolefin materials, PE, PP and many others, by raising its surface energy and improve adhesive characteristics by creating multiple bonding sites.
The most advanced and successful methods of surface treatment are based on high voltage discharge in air at atmospheric pressure (Corona/Plasma), or under vacuum (Plasma).
Both Corona and Plasma is used to raise surface tension on plastics; Plasma is also used as a cleaning process to remove organic contamination from plastic, rubber and metal surfaces.
